We are seeking a licensed Psychologist for a 52-day locum tenens assignment in Arizona, starting Sep 29, 2025. This role offers a flexible schedule with options for 4x10 or 5x8 day shifts, Monday through Thursday or Tuesday through Friday. The Psychologist will maintain clinical responsibility for mental health programs within a correctional facility, leading mental health initiatives and providing direct patient care. Assignment begins following clearance from the Arizona Department of Corrections.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Maintain overall clinical responsibility for the mental health programs within the facility
  • Oversee the completion of mental health screenings and evaluations
  • Perform sick call visits and chronic care visits
  • Conduct rounds in all units
  • Formulate working diagnoses and develop, implement, and evaluate treatment plans to promote positive patient outcomes
  • Coordinate, lead, and participate in educational training activities related to mental health care

Additional Information
  • Must have an active Arizona license
  • Experience in corrections is preferred, but not required
  • Start date is contingent upon clearance from the Arizona Department of Corrections
