Position Summary

The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will serve as the strategic financial leader, overseeing financial planning, cash flow, and accounting operations for 100+ entities. This role requires deep expertise in multi-entity consolidations, intercompany transactions, debt and asset management, and partner relations. The CFO will manage the end-to-end financial lifecycle, provide oversight of accounting, entity creation, and reporting, and ensure the scalability of financial systems and processes as the company continues its aggressive growth trajectory. This is a hands-on and strategic role with daily involvement in financial operations, oversight of a small but expanding accounting team, and direct partnership with ownership and external partners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic oversight of financial planning, forecasting, and cash flow management across 100+ entities.
  • Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidations of financials, ensuring accuracy and timeliness with support of Controller and accounting team.
  • Manage entity creation, intercompany transactions, debt management, and partner distributions/contributions.
  • Oversee payroll processing, wages bill backs, AP, and financial reporting.
  • Direct asset management activities, including oversight of land transactions.
  • Partner with external stakeholders and financial institutions; lead automation and process improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain strong internal controls, compliance, and organizational structure across all entities.
  • Serve as a strategic advisor to ownership on investments, growth opportunities, and partner relations.
  • Lead and mentor accounting staff, with oversight of contract/AP management, property management accounting, and commissions tracking.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, to ensure accurate financial reporting and deal commissions.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or MBA preferred.
  • 10+ years of progressive finance and accounting leadership experience
  • Required experience and demonstrated success managing complex, multi-entity environments.
  • Strong experience in financial planning, consolidations, intercompany accounting, and cash flow management.
  • Proven ability to manage debt structures, asset portfolios, and partner distributions.
  • Hands-on ERP expertise; experience with NetSuite, QuickBooks Desktop, and QuickBooks Online preferred.
  • Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment with significant growth.
  • Willing to travel up to 20%

The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, and can participate in medical, dental, and vision benefits as well as the company's 401(k) retirement plan.
