Job Title: HR Supervisor
Reports To: Vice President, Human Resources North America (dotted-line to General Manager)
Employment Type: Full-Time
Position Summary: We are seeking a proactive and experienced HR Supervisor to lead all human resources functions at our primary distribution site, with potential remote support responsibilities for additional locations. This is a key, standalone role that oversees all aspects of the employee lifecycle, including staffing, onboarding, employee relations, leadership development, payroll, and benefits. The HR Supervisor serves as a trusted advisor to site leadership and an integral member of the North American HR team.
Responsibilities
- Own and execute the sites staffing strategy, including recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and retention.
- Serve as the primary contact for employee relations, investigations, and disciplinary actions.
- Coach and guide supervisors and managers, supporting performance management and leadership development.
- Partner with site leadership to drive employee engagement and promote a high-performing, inclusive culture.
- Manage end-to-end payroll processing and ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Administer employee benefits programs and serve as a point of contact for employee questions and support.
- Maintain accurate employee records and ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws.
- Provide remote HR support to other sites as needed to ensure consistency in HR practices.
- Collaborate with the VP of HR and HR peers across North America to implement HR initiatives, policies, and best practices.
- Utilize a robust HRIS to manage data, reporting, and processes; experience with ADP is strongly preferred.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of HR generalist experience in a standalone or single contributor capacity.
- Strong working knowledge of employment law, employee relations, and HR operations.
- Demonstrated experience with HRIS systems (ADP preferred) and full-cycle payroll administration is required.
- Experience in distribution, logistics, or manufacturing environments is a plus.
- SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP certification preferred.
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) strongly preferred.
- Ability to travel once a month as needed.
- High level of discretion, professionalism, and the ability to manage priorities across multiple sites.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and analytical skills.
