RN - Neuro ICU/SICU

Job Title: Registered Nurse - Neuro ICU/SICU (RN - ICU)
Location: Albany, NY
Duration: 8 Weeks with possible extension
Pay Range: $70 - $75/hr
We are also offering travel and per diem packages that is based on eligibility.
Schedule Notes:

• Work Hours: 36 hours per week
• Shift Timing: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced Travel ICU Registered Nurse with recent background in trauma, surgical, and neurological ICU care . This position involves managing high-acuity patients in a large academic medical center setting. Candidates must have Epic EMR experience and complete a competency test within 24 hours of submission . Must have the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, complex ICU environment.
Responsibilities:

• Provide critical care nursing to trauma, surgical, and neurological ICU patients
• Manage advanced monitoring, ventilators, and hemodynamic drips
• Rapid response to emergencies and life-threatening conditions
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary ICU team to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Document patient care using Epic EMR
• Ensure compliance with infection control and hospital safety protocols

Skills & Requirements:
Certifications:

• BLS (AHA) - Required
• ACLS (AHA) - Required

Experience:

• Minimum 2 years of recent ICU staff experience in trauma, surgical, and neuro ICU - Required
• Epic EMR Experience - REQUIRED

Education:

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program - Required
