Travel Nursing Job Details Job Title: Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (L&D RN) - Travel Assignment Location: Modesto, CA 95356 (California healthcare job) Employment Type: Travel Nursing - Critical Need Healthcare Setting: Labor & Delivery Unit Start Date: September 9, 2025 End Date: December 6, 2025 Assignment Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM) Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week Estimated Weekly Salary: $2,830 - $3,030 per week Registered Nurse Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) License in California Graduate of an accredited nursing program Minimum 1 year of recent (within the last 3 years) full-time Labor & Delivery nursing experience Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification Preferred: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or related field Preferred: 5+ years of recent Labor & Delivery RN experience (within the last 2 years) Preferred: 1 year of high-risk labor and delivery experience (within the last 2 years) Preferred: High Risk OB experience Labor & Delivery RN Responsibilities Deliver expert nursing care to patients in the Labor & Delivery unit, including high-risk obstetric cases Monitor and assess mothers and newborns throughout labor, delivery, and postpartum stages Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure safe, effective patient care Administer medications, IVs, and perform necessary clinical interventions as required Educate patients and families on labor, delivery, and postpartum care best practices Maintain accurate, timely documentation of all patient care activities Join our healthcare team in Modesto, California, and make a difference in maternal and newborn care.
