Travel Nursing Job Details Assignment Type: Travel Nursing - Labor & Delivery RN Location: Clarksville, Tennessee 37040 (Tennessee nursing jobs) Unit: Labor & Delivery (L&D) Duration: 13 weeks (Start: 9/15/2025 - End: 12/15/2025) Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM) Hours per Week: 36 Estimated Weekly Salary: $1680 - $1800 Patient Ratio: 2:1 Floating: May float to Nursery & Postpartum units EMR: Cerner Scrubs: Navy Registered Nurse Qualifications Active Tennessee RN license (Registered Nurse jobs in Tennessee) Minimum 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery nursing experience BLS and ACLS certifications (ARC or AHA only) NRP and Fetal Monitoring preferred (must obtain within 6 months if not certified) Ability to float to Nursery and Postpartum units Experience with Cerner EMR preferred Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility (travel nurse requirement) Labor & Delivery Nurse Responsibilities Deliver comprehensive care to Labor & Delivery patients during antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, and neonatal phases Apply the nursing process in accordance with the Tennessee Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies Demonstrate critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership in patient care Maintain clinical competencies through continuing education Delegate patient care tasks based on staff education and experience Supervise assigned personnel in delivering patient care Float to Nursery and Postpartum units as needed Take advantage of this locum tenens travel nurse job to expand your skills, explore Clarksville, and make a meaningful impact in maternal and neonatal healthcare.
