Job Description & Requirements Specialty: CVOR Discipline: RN Start Date: 10/06/2025 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 10 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Travel RN – CVOR | Columbus, OH Location: Columbus, OH 43210 Start Date: 10/06/2025 Contract Length: 13 weeks Shift: Days, 4x10 (6:30 AM – 11:00 PM) Unit: CVOR | Operating Room RN Pay Package (40 hrs/week) Weekly Gross: $3,415 Taxable W2: $720/week ($18.00/hr) Stipend (Non-Taxable): $2,695/week ($67.38/hr) Total Hourly Equivalent: $85.38/hr OT Rate (W2): $27.00/hr Requirements Experience: 5 years overall OR experience with 2 years dedicated cardiac & vascular – HARDSTOP Licensure: Compact or OH RN license (must be in hand at submission) Certifications: BLS (required), ACLS (preferred) Travel Experience: Not required Other: Must be competent to circulate & scrub CV/PV/heart & lung transplant cases Facility & Unit Details Unit: CVOR (7 ORs, 7 beds) Patient Age Groups: Adults & Geriatrics Trauma Level: I Shifts: Combination of 2x8s and 2x12s per week Scrub Requirement: Required (confirm comfort level scrubbing major cardiac/vascular procedures) Floating: To like units as needed Call: Required Compliance Notes Strict compliance deadline: Tuesday before start (no exceptions) Fingerprinting: Mandatory for Ohio (urgent turnaround required) RTO: Must be declared at submission Locals: Accepted at same rate References: 2 required (1 must be manager/director/charge) Education: Must be from ACEN or CCNE accredited program Former Employees: Eligible if away from facility for 6 months Current Employees: Not eligible as travelers This is a high-acuity CVOR RN contract at one of the nation’s leading heart hospitals.
