Executive Sous Chef
for our exciting new client in San Francisco, CA. Our client is changing the game for office lunch catering in the Bay area! With an unparalleled team of local chefs, they are elevating the mealtime experience for offices around the Bay. They make good food from scratch daily. They start with chefs from some of the best restaurants in the Bay area and beyond, add locally-sourced produce and meats of exceptional quality, and a state-of-the-art kitchen overlooking the waterfront in San Francisco’s Dogpatch. Their cuisine is fresh, forward-thinking and contemporary, embracing dining trends and flavors that reflect the dynamic San Francisco restaurant scene. They bring the same approach to catering that they believe is the bedrock of the success of their restaurants: an uncompromising commitment to food quality followed up with world class service. Requirements
Ideal candidate will have the following: Minimum 3 years in leadership (Sous Chef, Chef de Cuisine, Chef, etc.), and 1 plus years in a similar role. (fine catering or fine dining) Formal training in a culinary school a tremendous plus! Exceptional culinary skills including a well-developed palate and knowledge of diverse cuisines. Organized with an acute attention to detail. Possess a management style based on accountability and honesty, interest in teaching and team building, and leading by example. Must be efficient with administrative duties, including computer skills and experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Google Sheets. Must be an adaptable, flexible team player with an outstanding attitude and an understanding of the big picture. Salary Range & Benefits MONDAY thru FRIDAY DAYS work week!!! Starting salary $60k to $75k depending upon experience Very obtainable quarterly and annual bonus program (approx. 10%-15% of base salary)
