Overview Infosys is seeking a Principal SAP MDG Consultant. You will be a key player in the consulting team and subject matter expert contributing to different phases of the consulting lifecycle. You will be intensely involved in business process consulting; you will define the problem, propose and create the solution. You will also play an important role in the development, configuration and deployment of the overall solution. You will guide teams on project processes, deliverables and contribute to the proposal development, client training and internal capability building and help detail the project scope. Lead business process consulting, define problems, propose and create solutions, and contribute to development, configuration and deployment of the overall solution. Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education. At least 11 years of experience with Information Technology. Candidates authorized to work for any employer in the United States without employer-based visa sponsorship are welcome to apply. Work with the various technical teams to come up with the future state solution architecture to support the MDG implementation. Execution of all phases of MDG implementation. Develop solution/design recommendations for data modelling, integration, synchronization mechanisms. Share perspectives about best practices, common technical issues & approaches. Hands-on configurations on SAP MDG framework for data modelling, UI modelling, process modelling, rules and derivations, BRF+. Translate business requirements into technical specifications documents. Expertise with SAP MDG configurations, replication configurations. Experience in User interface modelling (design and creation of UI, value restriction, navigation elements, data quality, validation and derivation rules). Technical knowledge of MDG workflows, UI Field Property Changes, ERP tables. Full life cycle implementation including blueprinting, fit/gap analysis, configurations, data migrations, cutovers and go-live experience. Preparation of SIT Test Scripts per Functional spec requirements and ability to execute SIT independently. Data Replication Framework – replication of Master Data using IDocs, RFC and Web Services. Key/Value mapping expertise is nice to have. MDG development/customizations for data modelling, UI modelling, process modelling, rules and derivations, BRF+, replication configurations. MDG workflows, Floor Plan Manager, WDABAP, BRF+ (Decision Table configurations and BAdI implementations). Hands on development in Data Quality BAdIs (validations, derivations), ABAP, WDABAP framework based customizations in SAP MDG. FPM and UI customizations; data replication framework customizations (IDocs, RFC and Web Services). Knowledge on MDG APIs and their use cases. Technical development for SAP MDG and ability to suggest workarounds for FIT gaps. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; well-versed in English (spoken and written). Proactive problem solving; ability to lead large implementation teams; onsite and offshore coordination. Project planning and status management in an AGILE – Scrum fashion. Ability to use project tools to access defects, incidents (e.g., Dynamics, RevTracks, JIRA). Experience in other SAP modules like ECC and/or S/4HANA (MM/SD a plus). The job entails extensive travel. The job also entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Compensation and Benefits Estimated annual compensation range for candidate based in Lisle, IL: $118,446 to $153,980.
