Media/Influencer Relations Maintain strong relationships with more than ten key media across business, financial services, and the adtech/martech industry Identify new media opportunities for clients and share findings with teams Regular proactive pitches generating coverage for the whole team Coach junior staff to improve team relationships Use social media creatively to engage and support efforts Measure the ROI of communications activities Engage with social media influencers, content campaigns, and media coverage amplification Client Service/Management: manage projects from concept through execution Monitor competitors and flag opportunities and news events for commentary Own and direct client PR calls; provide counsel on media opportunities under challenging circumstances Develop quarterly campaigns and PR plans including creative campaigns, trendscapes, and thought leadership topics Own key elements of the PR program (analysts, speaking, content, etc.) and be a go-to resource for client contact Develop budget and team priority allocations Participate in media training sessions with clients including developing key messages Writing proficiency: generate and edit campaign plans, press releases, fact sheets, biographies, and related materials Professional, articulate, and timely client communication; develop consistent, creative pitches Agency Operations: participate in new business processes and attend networking events Support teams and manage up and down; promote a respectful, enthusiastic, and professional environment Use Highwire channels; write for Highwire blog; mentor junior staff Self Development: set quarterly goals with manager and demonstrate growth; prioritize responsibilities by impact and timelines; drive projects forward independently Qualifications

3-5 years of experience in an agency or startup environment, working with innovative teams on creative campaigns Strong writing ability and motivational leadership skills Established go-to network of bloggers and journalists; adept at identifying trends Ability to manage campaigns from concept to completion and to measure results Experience with media relations, influencer engagement, content campaigns, and coverage amplification Benefits (Highwire Perks)
