The Strategy & Operations team is looking for an Associate Manager to reduce the cost of fraud and build solutions to protect our platform from would-be fraudsters. You’ll focus on creating our strategy and executing against ambitious goals around preventing Merchant fraud. You’ll grow familiar with our three audiences — Consumers, Dashers and Merchants — and help promote the balance between providing merchants the best experience and keeping bad actors at bay.

Define and implement DoorDash’s strategy for Merchant fraud and deliver direct business impact.
Build a framework for improved product flows for DoorDash merchants, preventing fraud while ensuring a smooth experience for legitimate actors, spanning onboarding and post-onboarding.
Enable new partnerships across DoorDash’s platform by proactively protecting new partnerships from a merchant perspective.
Influence and engage across the company—partner with product, engineering, and analytics teams to set goals and execute against them.
Improve through experimentation—use data-driven decision-making to run tests that reduce fraud while accelerating growth.
Responsibilities
Define and execute the strategy for preventing merchant fraud with measurable impact on the business.
Develop product-flow frameworks that balance anti-fraud controls with a smooth merchant experience from onboarding through post-onboarding.
Collaborate with product, engineering, and analytics teams to establish goals and drive execution.
Design and run experiments to test fraud-reduction hypothesis and measure impact on growth.
Qualifications
4-5+ years of experience in management consulting, strategy, bizops, investment banking, analytics, or related fields; high-growth tech experience preferred.
Experience leading large cross-functional projects end-to-end, achieving goals in a collaborative environment.
Strong problem solving and analytical skills; proficiency in SQL and Excel required.
Bachelor’s degree required.
Compensation & Benefits Base salary ranges are market-dependent and localized by work location. The compensation for this role includes opportunities for equity grants. For more information, talk to your recruiter.

Paid Time Off Details
Salary roles: flexible PTO/vacation, plus 80 hours of paid sick time per year.
Hourly roles: vacation accrual and paid sick time accrual per standard policies described by your role.
The national base pay range for this position in the United States is $98,600—$145,000 USD. Base pay is localized by location. Ranges may be modified in the future.
