Overview The Labor Relations Campaign Director serves as a principal leader for union avoidance and organizing campaigns across the Tenet enterprise. Reporting to the Vice President of Labor Relations, the candidate will work closely with senior human resources and operations leadership in all Tenet markets. Travel up to 75% is required.

Assist VP in developing and executing union awareness and avoidance strategy and initiatives at field facilities Advise and counsel hospitals, markets, and corporate office on all matters relating to labor and employee relations issues and union organizing activity, including coaching and counseling to field leaders to improve employee relations Work with VP to strategize and respond to galvanizing employee issues across the enterprise as part of developing and driving positive employee relations strategies Take an active and involved role in leadership development for hospitals and markets, with a focus on improving overall people skills and emotional intelligence of leadership teams Advise and manage the response to union organizing, including both NLRB campaigns and pre-petition drives Draft and execute in-depth training for market and facility management on labor and employee relations issues Build credibility with and maintain good morale among employees, gaining the trust of both leadership and employees Develop and oversee action plans at hospitals to improve employee relations and employee morale Provide education and intelligence on relevant union activity in markets that we operate in Develop communications to support union avoidance initiatives and election campaigns Up to 75% travel Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required; JD preferred 7-10 years of related experience at a company with union represented employees, preferably in acute healthcare Experience managing outside counsel and consultants Experience managing grievance arbitration process Experience with union campaigns Experience with union negotiations Extensive experience with and knowledge of labor and employment laws and labor relations Possess research, analytical, organization, and computer skills (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel) Ability to work independently as well as having strong interpersonal, organization, written and communication skills Employment Details
