We're seeking a reliable and motivated Floor Assistant to join our team and support the Shift Supervisor and Manager in a fast-paced production environment. In this role, you'll help oversee multiple machines, ensure safe and efficient operations, and keep production running smoothly .
Pay: $18-$19/hour
Shift: 2nd Shift | Monday - Friday | 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM
Responsibilities
Start up and shut down machines, water, air, and material systems in your area Set up equipment for production changes, including brand plates and hot stamping machines Ensure compliance with safety standards and product instructions Troubleshoot basic machine and process issues Monitor material usage and maintain standard cycle times Keep workstations stocked, organized, and clean (5S) Record scrap, performance data, and complete necessary paperwork Support the next shift by prepping equipment and materials Step in to run machines during breaks or as needed Lead safety initiatives and contribute to continuous improvement Qualifications
High school diploma required Experience as a team lead in a manufacturing environment 2+ years of injection molding experience preferred, but not required Strong problem-solving skills and self-motivated attitude Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
