Senior Audit Associate – Construction | Real Estate | Manufacturing Location: Remote - in either NC, SC or VA Full-Time | Mid-Sized CPA Firm

The Role: We’re seeking a
highly motivated Audit Senior
to lead and support audit engagements for our clients in the construction, real estate, and/or manufacturing industries. In this role, you will be a key player in supervising engagements from planning through completion, mentoring junior staff, and building strong client relationships.
Key Responsibilities: Lead audits, reviews, and compilations for clients in construction, real estate, or manufacturing. Oversee fieldwork and manage audit teams to ensure timely and accurate engagement delivery. Review workpapers, financial statements, and technical accounting issues. Serve as a primary point of contact for clients during engagements. Assist in the development and training of junior team members. Stay current on industry and regulatory developments affecting clients.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field (Master’s preferred). CPA license or CPA-eligible. 2+ years of recent public accounting experience, ideally with exposure to construction, real estate, or manufacturing clients. Strong knowledge of GAAP, GAAS, and internal control principles. Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills. Experience with audit software (e.g., CCH ProSystem fx Engagement, CaseWare, etc.) is a plus.
