Our client, a large government integrator located in Washington DC, is looking to hire a Systems Architect for a 12-month onsite contract with the chance to extend. The Systems Architect will lead solution design and technical strategy, translating business needs into scalable architectures and implementation plans. They will define system requirements, create technical diagrams, and engage stakeholders to ensure alignment across business and IT. The role also includes resolving system issues, estimating project efforts, and driving best practices for enterprise system deployments.
Required Skills: BA/BS degree (computer science/systems, information systems/technology, engineering/engineering technology, software or related degree) Effective written and verbal communication skills (both technical and non-technical) 15+ years of technical leadership experience Track record of leading and managing successful application modernization implementations, particularly mainframe to web/mobile environments Deep experience in developing and managing workflows, user interfaces, decision rules, and data models. Thorough understanding of and experience in software development lifecycle and Agile delivery methodology Experience and/or certification in Microsoft Azure Experience with UI/UX and mobile development Ability to obtain a public trust clearance.
