We are looking for a Part-Time
Accountant with Senior Housing
(HUD) experience. 16 hours/week. $27 to $39 per hour based on skills and experience. Accountant – Senior Housing Qualifications: 3+ years of HUD housing experience required. Associates Degree or clinical education of 2 or more years. Certified HUD AHM (Assisted Housing Manager) preferred. Detail-oriented and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Must have good computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite. Accountant – Senior Housing Job Summary: Maintain financial record keeping and reporting systems. Ensure that all required financial and other accounting records, reports, documents and other data are prepared and maintained. Responsible for billing, receivables, payables, cash receipts, cash disbursements, and general ledger functions. Research variances and discrepancies. Maintain security deposit balances, replacement reserve, insurance escrow and residual receipts accounts. Assist in accurate and timely monthly and year end close. Assist in preparing and monitoring annual budget. Prepare for and participates in any IRS, HUD and other audits as needed. Perform cash management functions. Assist with tenant certifications and applicable reporting. Back-up director as needed for duties such as HUD HAP filing and ACH lease uploads.
