We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Bookkeeper to oversee our accounting functions and help guide the financial health of the practice.
Position Summary The Bookkeeper will be responsible for managing day-to-day financial transactions, maintaining accurate financial records, and supporting the practice’s financial health. This role is ideal for someone who is organized, proactive, and experienced in healthcare or small business accounting. Key Responsibilities Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts Process accounts payable and receivable Manage payroll and employee expense reimbursements Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports Assist with budgeting and forecasting Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies Collaborate with external accountants during audits and tax preparation Support administrative and operational tasks as needed Qualifications Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 3+ years of bookkeeping experience (medical or healthcare setting preferred) Proficiency in QuickBooks, Bills.com or similar accounting software Strong knowledge of payroll systems, payroll taxes, and financial reporting Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality Strong communication and interpersonal skills Position Benefits: · Comprehensive Medical Plans with HSA/FSA options · Dental Plan with 100% coverage for Preventative Care · Vision Insurance · Group Life Insurance at 1x salary up to $50,000 · Voluntary Life Insurance coverage up to $150,000 · Voluntary Short -Term and Long-Term Disability · 401k Plan after 1 year, 1000 hours · Paid Time Off (PTO) Bi-Weekly Accrual Starts Immediately · 10 Paid Holidays Requirements:
