Who We're Looking For We are looking for a Per Diem Pharmacy Technician. Experience working in

substance/behavioral

treatment center required. Reports to the Director or Pharmacy

What You'll Do Orders and received medication from appropriate source and conducts inventory of controlled substances Reports all variances as required by state and federal regulations Prepares accurately medication doses for patients in levels and dosage amounts as prescribed Keeps adequate control over requesting and dispensing of all drugs and pharmaceutical supplies Reviews and interprets the prescription of inpatient and outpatient using computerized patient profiles to ensure the appropriateness of dosage and to determine the significance of potential drug-drug interactions Contacts and confers with healthcare provides concerting the appropriate drug, dose, interval, drug allergy and drug-drug interaction Fills automated dispensing machines and accurately prepares and dispenses appropriate amount of inpatient and outpatient medication.

What You Need High School diploma or GED required Certified Pharmacy Technician Experience working in

substance/behavioral

treatment center preferred Current CPR Certification preferred Proof of Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) Training or must be obtained
