Position: DevOps Engineer

Requirements
We are looking for an AWS DevOps Engineer to optimize and maintain our cloud infrastructure, ensuring robust monitoring, cost efficiency, and seamless application deployment. This role will play a key part in automating our development pipeline, improving system observability, and enhancing platform reliability.
Job Duties
Key Responsibilities
Cloud Infrastructure Management:
Maintain and optimize cloud-based infrastructure, ensuring high availability and scalability.
Manage autoscaling and performance tuning to handle fluctuating traffic loads.
Implement and enhance monitoring, security controls, and access management.
Support deployment and configuration of cloud services via automation tools.
Observability & Monitoring:
Enhance logging capabilities, ensuring real-time monitoring of system performance and security events.
Develop and implement alerting mechanisms to notify relevant teams of potential issues.
Improve end-user messaging and error handling, ensuring prompt issue resolution.
Automation & CI/CD:
Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated testing, deployment, and rollback strategies.
Ensure zero-downtime deployments and manage infrastructure as code (IaC).
Optimize Git-based workflows and agile development processes for seamless collaboration.
Security & Compliance:
Implement best practices for role-based access controls, identity management, and cloud security policies.
Work closely with security teams to harden cloud environments and ensure compliance with industry standards.
Ensure that Extensias architecture adheres to best practices for data protection and encryption.
Collaboration & Continuous Improvement:
Work closely with developers to enhance application performance, scalability, and resilience.
Support ongoing database and infrastructure improvements, ensuring optimal indexing and query performance.
Contribute to documentation and knowledge sharing to improve overall DevOps practices. Functional Skills & Qualifications
Qualifications & Experience
Required:
3+ years of experience in a DevOps, SRE, or Cloud Engineer role.
Expertise in cloud-based infrastructure management and automation.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
Strong infrastructure as code (IaC) experience using Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar tools.
Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
Experience with log aggregation and monitoring tools.
Familiarity with security best practices, including access controls and encryption management.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred:
Experience with payment terminal integrations and troubleshooting connectivity issues.
Knowledge of serverless architectures and cloud-native development.
Hands-on experience with agile DevOps processes and team collaboration tools.
Understanding of high-traffic system optimization and performance tuning strategies. How To Apply
