Network Engineer

to support the BOA/OPIR/ESL team at Schriver Space Force Base in Colorado. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a fast-paced, collaborative environment with a geographically diverse team.

The

Junior

Network Engineer

position is an on-site position.

Job Responsibilities: Provide support to software integration lab End-to-end communication Making network changes to the system Enhancing/improving the network system and architecture Troubleshooting complex network issue Resolving discovered bugs Ensuring 100% network availability. Attention to detail and hands-on Strong written and verbal communication skills Job Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) related area with 2 years of related engineering experience Alternatively, a master's degree in a STEM discipline with 0 years of related engineering experience. Active DoD 8140 approved IAT Level II (or higher) compliant certification (i.e. CCNA Security, Network +, Security+CE, CISSP). Working knowledge of TCP/IP, IPv4 addressing and network design including IP subnetting, VLANs, Spanning Tree, Nexus VPC and static routing/ dynamic routing protocols. Using OSI model knowledge to troubleshoot network issues. Firewall management and configuration with Cisco FirePower, ASA, Fortigate. Understanding of DNS as well as network device configuration and troubleshooting. Working knowledge of network security features like IP access-lists. Clearance

Active DoD Secret Clearance (TS preferred) Ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) clearance in a reasonable period of time.
