Project Mechanical Engineer- Bethesda, MD $5K Signing Bonus Our Bethesda, MD office has an opening for a talented Project Mechanical Engineer who would like to work on diverse projects. The Project Mechanical Engineer will provide engineering design, evaluation, and planning of mechanical systems. The candidate will have the opportunity to work on projects in a variety of market sectors, such as healthcare, science & technology, education, and commercial projects. In this role, you will:Provide engineering design, evaluation, and planning of mechanical systems for healthcare, science & technology, education, and commercial projectsPerform Load/Energy calculations with software such as Trace 700, Carrier HAP, and similar programsWork with a senior engineer to conduct building surveys and documentation of existing HVAC systemsDevelop system design calculations and selection of equipment for use in buildingsWrite/edit project specificationsPrepare detailed design documents, reports, and studiesCode compliance researchCoordinate work with other disciplinesProvide construction administration services You will be a great fit if:You have a minimum of 5 years of design experienceBachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related fieldLEED certification/experience is a plusExperience with laboratories/medical facilities design is preferredSkills/abilities:Proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, and MS OfficeFamiliarity with codes, standards, and design guidelinesExcellent work ethic and attitudeGood communication and time management skillsInterpersonal communication skills, combined with organizational skills, the ability to plan, balance, and prioritize workLocation: Bethesda, MD (Hybrid role) Salary: $115,000-$130,000/yearThis role comes with a comprehensive benefit package including healthcare, dental and vision and 401K matching.
