In this pivotal role, you will contribute to the development and maintenance of critical components that drive the success of our Wiring Manufacturing Systems Product. As a key team member, you will have the opportunity to define, design, configure, implement, and sustain innovative software solutions that support the evolving needs of a leading aerospace and defense company.We are looking for a passionate software developer who is eager to deepen their understanding of the Electrical Fabrication business. Success in this role requires active engagement in collaborative workshops and effective communication with diverse stakeholders throughout the requirements gathering and implementation phases.At Boeing, we highly value individuals who bring a strong analytical mindset to problem-solving, exceptional communication skills, a genuine interest in both technology and human collaboration, and a continuous curiosity to learn and innovate.Position Responsibilities:Apply expertise in Electrical Engineering, Fabrication, and Quality-focused processes and applications to support software development effortsConduct thorough business process analysis and functional mapping to align software solutions with organizational needsDemonstrate a strong understanding of software development lifecycle principles and best practicesDevelop and execute functional software tests to ensure high-quality deliverablesUtilize strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify issues and implement effective solutionsCommunicate and collaborate effectively across technical and business teams, bridging gaps to ensure shared understandingWork independently and collaboratively within a team environment to meet project goalsDemonstrate advanced software development skills with versatility across diverse technical processes and solutionsBasic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):3+ years of experience with software development in a collaborative team environment using agile principles and a structured development process including code reviews and automated DevOps processes/tools3+ years of experience with Software Testing or Software Verification3+ years of experience in post-production sustainment support3+ years of experience with multiple internal stakeholders and suppliers3+ years of experience in a customer-facing environment and directly involved in gathering requirements3+ years of experience solving complex business problems and delivering solutions via technologyPreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):Bachelor's degree or equivalent work or military experienceExperience working with cross functional agile teams to deliver cohesive system solutionsExperience as a self-starter and ability to work independentlyExperience with Electrical Engineering, Fabrication, and Quality processesExperience integrating cross-organizational applications and external systemsExperience with Agile work environments and methodologiesExperience with test development and execution tools to enhance software qualityExperience with Web Application Development, Oracle, SQL Server, C++, and MS AccessExperience with Azure Development Operations (DevOps) Server and GitLab Source Code ManagementExperience with database management and reporting tools to support data-driven decision-makingExperience with clear communication and time management in dynamic team environment while staying adaptable, open to new ideas, and eager to learn new technologies and methodologiesDrug Free Workplace:Boeing is a Drug Free Workplace where post offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana, cocaine, opioids, amphetamines, PCP, and alcohol when criteria is met as outlined in our policies.Pay & Benefits:At Boeing, we strive to deliver a Total Rewards package that will attract, engage and retain the top talent.
