Job Title: Production Control Specialist
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Production Control Specialist to manage and coordinate the movement of inventory across production floors. This role is crucial in ensuring the efficient flow of materials and maintaining inventory accuracy.
Responsibilities
Move inventory around the shops and track inventory levels.
Roll carts of materials throughout different departments on the production floor.
Work with various departments to prioritize work orders and set up tasks in an assigned production cell.
Assist supervision and workforce in resolving work order or shop supply discrepancies and concerns.
Maintain a clean work environment in compliance with company standards and regulations.
Exemplify a safety-first mindset, adhering to Health, Safety, and Environmental policies.
Drive disciplined maintenance of the Lean Operating Model pull system.
Cooperate with the Team Leader to ensure optimal production control outcomes.
Ensure blades needed for production are available on time between work centers.
Essential Skills
Material handling and inventory management.
Proficiency in tracking inventory levels and managing stock replenishment.
Computer literacy with the ability to communicate using Microsoft Outlook.
Effective communication and coordination with cross-functional teams.
Attention to detail for tracking production data and ensuring compliance.
Time management skills to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
High school diploma or GED equivalent.
1 - 3+ years of experience in manufacturing, warehousing, or logistics, including ERP/MRP experience.
Ability to lift 50 lbs.
Basic computer and math skills.
Fluency in spoken and written English.

Work Environment
The role is based on a production floor environment with a 1st shift schedule from 6:45 am to 3:15 pm.

This is a Contract position based out of El Cajon, California.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $25.00/hr.
