Summary: We are seeking a skilled and dependable
HVAC Technician
to install and maintain commercial HVAC systems and related components. This role is essential to ensuring timely, high-quality installations while promoting jobsite safety and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate is a team player with hands-on experience in commercial HVAC and a strong work ethic. Supervision and autonomy may vary depending on experience and demonstrated capabilities. Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday
8-hour day shifts with potential for overtime
Preferred
License/Certification: Journeyman HVAC License
EPA Certification a plus
Key Responsibilities: Install HVAC systems and related ductwork for commercial construction projects
Measure, cut, and thread pipe using pipe cutters, torches, and pipe-threading machines
Install sheet metal ductwork and HVAC equipment with accuracy and efficiency
Set and mount HVAC units; perform rough-in and trim-out for duct systems
Wire HVAC controls and components according to wiring diagrams
Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and other technical documents
Ensure jobsite safety and maintain a clean, professional work environment
Provide exceptional customer service and ensure client satisfaction
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications: High school diploma or GED required
3–5 years of hands-on HVAC experience, preferably in commercial settings
Experience working on construction sites preferred
Strong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with a range of HVAC equipment
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Clear and professional communication skills
Must be reliable, honest, and safety-focused
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and reliable transportation
Ability to pass background check and drug screening
Must be able to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
Capable of lifting up to 100 lbs and performing physically demanding tasks
Comfortable working in various weather conditions and on active construction sites
Must be able to climb, crouch, kneel, and navigate tight or elevated spaces
Work Environment: Split between fieldwork and occasional office duties
On job sites: exposure to outdoor weather, heights, moving mechanical parts, and high noise levels
In office: typical lighting, climate control, and moderate noise levels
Must be physically present at job sites as required by project demands
Flexibility in schedule may be required depending on project deadlines and management needs
Physical Requirements: Prolonged standing, walking, and movement across uneven surfaces
Frequent lifting, positioning, pushing, and pulling of materials
Regular stooping, crouching, kneeling, and climbing
Occasional desk work and computer use
Must be able to lift and carry at least 50 pounds consistently
