Medical Assistant
As a member of the patient care team, you will assist providers and nursing staff with daily office duties in an outpatient setting. You will play a crucial role in supporting patient care and ensuring smooth operations within the practice. Responsibilities Perform specific duties that support patient care. Measure and record patient vitals. Conduct patient intake processes. Room patients efficiently. Maintain accurate and timely documentation. Essential Skills Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) certification. Medical assisting and patient care experience. Ability to perform triage and EKGs. Proficiency with electronic health records. Additional Skills & Qualifications 1+ years of experience preferred, but entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply. Experience in cardiology is a plus. Ability to perform stress testing. Willingness to travel to Middletown or Cheshire as needed. Work Environment The work environment is a fast-paced cardiology office that is family-oriented but can be very busy at times. You will need to be available to work a full-time schedule between 7:30 AM and 5:00 PM, with core hours ranging from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Wallingford, Connecticut. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $21.00/hr.
