Strictly adhere to department policy and procedure for patient safety. Coordinate with physicians to provide diagnostic imaging. Prepare patients for scans and explain the procedure to help them feel comfortable. Insert IVs when necessary for the test. Position patients accordingly, which may include lifting or moving patients with limited mobility while utilizing safe patient handling techniques. Maintain accurate patient record keeping by properly documenting all necessary components within the system. Ensure identifying images are sent to the imaging system correctly upon exam completion. Maintain a clean and safe scanning facility. Preferred: - Knowledge of Philips and Siemens equipment is preferred. - Epic experience is highly desired. - Experience with Siemens scanners is required for 6 months.
