Strictly adhere to department policy and procedure for patient safety. Coordinate with physicians to provide diagnostic imaging. Prepare patients for scans and explain the procedure to help them feel comfortable. Insert IVs when necessary for the test. Position patients accordingly, which may include lifting or moving patients with limited mobility; utilize safe patient handling. Maintain accurate patient record keeping by properly documenting all necessary components within the system. Identify images and assure images are sent to the system correctly upon exam completion. Maintain a clean and safe scanning facility. Preferred Qualifications: Injection certification preferred; must be willing to complete during the orientation process. Knowledge of imaging equipment preferred. Soft Skills Required: Effective written and verbal communication skills. A patient and compassionate disposition. Team player who can maintain a cohesive working environment.
