SEO (Search Engine Optimization) Manager
Location: Medina, OH (Hybrid - 3 days in office, 2 days WFH) Type: Full-Time Were looking for a highly analytical and strategic SEO professional to serve as both an internal strategist and external-facing consultant. This role owns the implementation and client delivery process using the Market Brew SEO platform, and partners with clients on their overall organic search performance. Our clients include mission-driven organizations, such as faith-based media groups, conservative publishers, and values-focused nonprofits. The ideal candidate thrives at the intersection of SEO technology, data interpretation, and client strategy. You will become deeply embedded in each clients organic journey, translating complex ranking factors into actionable guidance that supports long-term growth. Responsibilities
Platform & Implementation
Lead the setup, calibration, and ongoing management of Market Brew for each client. Interpret Market Brew data (Spotlight, Market Focus, Link Flow, etc.) to deliver clear and actionable SEO recommendations. Customize mission plans and blueprints aligned with client goals, templates, and current performance. Troubleshoot and escalate issues with crawlability, SERP modeling, and forecasting tools. Client Strategy & Delivery
Serve as the primary SEO point of contact for assigned clients, owning organic strategy delivery. Translate technical output into client-friendly insights and partner with content, dev, and media teams. Collaborate with Account Managers to present recommendations, performance trends, and next steps. Advise on prioritization of SEO tasks based on Market Brew outputs, business needs, and effort-to-impact. Client Relationship & Growth
Build strong relationships by understanding each clients business model, site structure, content strategy, and competitive landscape. Proactively identify new opportunities for organic growth (e.g., new content clusters, technical fixes, link strategies). Train and educate clients on how to interpret Market Brew data and maximize its value. Required Skills & Experience
35+ years in SEO strategy or consulting roles, ideally with exposure to AI-driven SEO tools. Strong understanding of technical, on-page, and off-page SEO factors. Experience using advanced SEO platforms (SEMrush, Ahrefs, or BrightEdge, Market Brew a plus). Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical data into business-friendly language. Confident leading client meetings and presenting findings and strategy. Strong attention to detail and project management skills. Preferred Qualifications
Prior agency or multi-client environment experience. Familiarity with content modeling, entity-based SEO, and semantic search principles. Knowledge of Googles AI Overviews, SGE, and E-E-A-T concepts.
