The EWU University Grants and Research Office (UGRO) Program Coordinator will provide support for institutional grants activities. This position is funded through the Title III grant and will conclude at the end of the five-year grant cycle. The Program Coordinator will be essential in supporting the program's daily operations, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and institutional regulations, and assisting the Title III Director and UGRO's Associate Director with administrative tasks. Bachelor's degree in project management, education, or a related field (Master's degree preferred) Requirements

Minimum of 2 years of experience in program coordination and project management, or a related role, preferably in a higher education setting. Responsibilities Meeting Coordination: Coordinate biweekly meetings to track project(s) progress and ensure clear communication among stakeholders. Record Management: Maintain accurate and accessible records of grant funded expenditures, ensuring compliance with federal, state and University policies. Assist in preparing and reviewing the Directors' quarterly progress reports. Publicity and Communication: Assist in publicizing the UGRO institutional newsletter or regular communication to the campus community through newsletters, announcements, and presentations. Serve as a liaison between EWU and the U.S. Department of Education, providing updates and ensuring compliance with grant requirements. Policy and Procedure Development: Develop/update UGRO's Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) manual, outlining departmental policies and procedures. Develop/update the Title III Operating manual outlining program policies and procedures. Project Evaluation and Reporting: Coordinate the evaluation process for grant project(s). Prepare all mandatory final reports, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in submission. Additional Support: Provide administrative support to the Title III project director(s) as needed to ensure the smooth execution of the goals and objectives of all grant-related activities.

Competencies

Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Experience with grant management, federal reporting, and compliance, especially with grants, highly desirable. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, data management tools, and project management software. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with various stakeholders.
