Job Description Description: Position Summary The Pick, Pack, and Ship Associate supports daily warehouse operations by accurately fulfilling orders, programming electronic devices to customer or company specifications, labeling, and preparing shipments. This role safeguards product quality, data security, and inventory accuracy while meeting service and safety standards. Essential Functions of the Job Order fulfillment
Pick items from stock using scanners and work instructions. Verify item numbers, serial numbers, lots, and quantities. Inspect items for damage or defects before packing.
Programming of electronic devices
Load firmware or configurations using approved software, cables, and fixtures. Match device settings to work orders or customer profiles. Record serial numbers, IMEI numbers, SKU, and configuration results in the system. Perform functional checks and document pass or fail results. Follow ESD procedures, data security standards, and chain of custody rules. Wipe or reset devices in accordance with company policy on data handling.
Packing and labeling
Pack items with appropriate materials to prevent damage in transit. Apply product and shipping labels that meet customer, carrier, or regulatory requirements. Create packing slips, manifests, and other documents with complete and accurate information.
Shipping
Stage and ship orders using carrier systems such as UPS, FedEx, USPS, or LTL as applicable. Measure and weigh cartons and verify addresses and service levels. Close out shipments and hand off to carriers on time.
Inventory control
Perform cycle counts, bin counts, and resolve discrepancies. Report low stock, damages, and variances promptly.
Quality, safety, and housekeeping
Meet accuracy and throughput goals. Follow all safety rules, PPE use, and ESD requirements in device areas. Keep work areas organized and clean at all times.
Teamwork and communication
Coordinate with Customer Service, Technical Support, and Receiving as needed. Escalate issues, delays, and nonconformance to a lead or supervisor. Support continuous improvement and cross training.
Other duties as assigned
consistent with the role and business needs. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Basic computer skills and the ability to learn device programming software and warehouse systems. Strong attention to detail with reliable documentation and labeling habits. Ability to read and follow work orders, safety instructions, and standard operating procedures. Effective communication skills and the ability to work well in a team. Preferred Qualifications Six months or more in pick, pack, and ship, electronics handling, or light assembly. Experience with bar code scanners, thermal label printers, and common carrier software. Familiarity with ESD practices, serial number tracking, and RMA processing. Work Environment and Physical Demands Work is performed in a warehouse and device programming area with regular exposure to shelving, equipment, and moving objects. Stand and walk for extended periods during the shift. Lift, carry, push, or pull up to 35 pounds routinely and up to 50 pounds with assistance. Frequent reaching, bending, and handling of small components and cables. Use of ESD straps, mats, and PPE as required. Attendance and Work Hours Regular and predictable attendance is required. Overtime, weekends, or adjusted hours may be required to meet customer demand. Data Security and Confidentiality Protect company and customer data at all times. Follow procedures for device resets, data wiping, and secure handling of returns or RMAs. Report any suspected data breach or loss immediately. Compensation and Benefits Pay range: $17.25 per hour, based on experience and location.
