Shipping Specialist

WEI has an exciting opportunity for a Shipping Specialist to join our Operations Department. The Shipping Specialist supports the team and our customers by accurately and safely packing, shipping and delivering orders in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities : Pick, pack, and ship technology equipment in accordance with order specifications and customer requirements. Handle sensitive electronics with care, using anti-static bags, custom foam packaging, and proper labeling techniques. Generate shipping documentation (packing lists, BOLs, commercial invoices, export paperwork) for domestic and international shipments. Accurately weigh and measure packages to ensure rate accuracy. Use shipping systems (FedEx Ship Manager, UPS WorldShip, DHL, LTL freight platforms) to schedule pickups and print labels. Collaborate with imaging, integration, sales, and service teams to ensure readiness and prioritization of high-urgency orders. Verify all serial numbers and part numbers against packing lists and customer documentation before shipment. Maintain proper inventory of shipping supplies and recommend reorders when necessary. Follow all IT equipment handling, ESD (electrostatic discharge), and secure packaging protocols. Track outbound shipments, troubleshoot delays, and coordinate issue resolution with carriers and customer service. Assist in warehouse tasks as needed (receiving, inventory cycle counts, staging equipment).
Requirements:
Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handle changing priorities and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. 1-2 years of experience in a warehouse, shipping, or logistics environment. Familiarity with domestic and international shipping procedures preferred. Ability to use shipping software, scanners, and basic computer applications (Excel, Outlook, etc.). Material handling experience Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods. Commit to Safety - proactive within compliance of OSHA and NIOSH laws affecting associates.
Education and/or Certifications: High School Diploma and related experience.
