A key hands-on leadership position responsible for managing and directing the daily activities of the Manufacturing Engineering team. Supporting the achievement of key performance indicators (KPIs) in Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Productivity through daily management and continuous improvement initiatives. This role drives continuous improvement, supports new product introductions, manages capital projects, and fosters cross-functional collaboration to deliver robust and scalable manufacturing solutions.
Responsibilities
Lead and coordinate the manufacturing engineering team to support production goals and exceed customer expectations.
Accountable for the performance and results of the ME team, leveraging the Ralliant framework for annual performance and development planning to drive skill enhancement and technology adoption.
Foster engagement within the ME team and across the broader manufacturing organization by delivering process and equipment solutions that improve safety, quality, and operational efficiency.
Troubleshoot process and equipment failures by identifying root causes and implementing effective, sustainable solutions.
Champion improvement initiatives across SQDC metrics, applying lean manufacturing principles and the Ralliant Business System (RBS) toolset.
Mentor and guide the ME team in use of the RBS toolset to solve complex problems and foster a culture of continuous improvement through application of lean principles.
Collaborate with Product Development to ensure Design for Manufacturability and support timely product launches.
Develop and implement robust processes, equipment, and documentation using standard work methodologies.
Design and develop tooling, fixtures, automation, and testing equipment aligned with product and process requirements.
Lead the creation and execution of PFMEAs, validation protocols, and process qualifications.
Champion innovative technologies and next-generation engineering solutions for manufacturing.
Manage capital projects including equipment selection, procurement, installation, and qualification.
Maintain proficiency in engineering tools and methodologies such as CAD, FMEA, GD&T, and Six Sigma.
Control expenditures within operating, NPI, and capital budgets.
May be assigned additional projects and responsibilities by leadership.

Education & Experience Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical field required; MBA preferred.
5–8 years of experience in manufacturing engineering, including product and process development.
3+ years’ experience managing manufacturing/ engineering teams.
Experience with SolidWorks preferred, other 3D modeling systems a plus.
Strong background in lean manufacturing, process development, and automation.
Experience with DFMEA, PFMEA, process validation, and Six Sigma analysis.
Demonstrated success in managing capital projects and supporting new product introductions.
Proficiency in engineering tools and methodologies including CAD, FMEA, and GD&T.
Desired Skills
Strategic mindset with the ability to set a clear vision for site manufacturing.
Strong analytical and data-driven problem-solving skills.
Exceptional project management and organizational abilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ERP/MRP systems.
