Jobot is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our team. This role reports to Principals/Directors and requires leading multiple projects, client-facing activities, and team leadership. Proficiency in HVAC design and detailed engineering calculations is essential. Salary: $110,000 - $155,000 per year. Location: Baltimore, MD area with potential for hybrid work arrangements. Lead and manage multiple concurrent mechanical design projects from concept through construction administration. Lead, manage, and coordinate with Principals, Directors, clients, and contractors; participate in client meetings. Design HVAC systems for a range of building types; develop detailed engineering design calculations and drawings. Collaborate with architecture, structure, and other disciplines to coordinate HVAC design requirements. Prepare engineering reports and narratives; ensure design quality and compliance with codes and standards. Support business development efforts, assist with RFPs and interview processes; engage with professional organizations. Possess strong technical skills and background in HVAC systems design; participate in the design process from schematics through construction administration. Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from ABET-accredited program PE License (highly desired) Security clearance preferred, not required 8–10+ years of experience with an MEP or engineering consulting firm designing HVAC building systems on complex projects Proficient in Revit and AutoCAD Experience with government/federal projects, civic/public sector, healthcare, higher education Develop HVAC designs from concept through construction completion Experience in direct client contact and building client relationships Ability to coordinate with other disciplines and deliver detailed design documentation Desired (not required)

Experience and interest in sustainable building design LEED AP or LEED GA with relevant experience Understanding of architectural design processes Equal Opportunity
