Are you passionate about clean transportation and eager to drive the adoption of electric vehicles (EVs)? We’re looking for a dynamic EV Customer Solutions Advisor to lead our site acquisition and customer onboarding process for EV charging infrastructure and transportation electrification advisory services. Join us in accelerating the transition to a sustainable future! Responsibilities
50% Customer Engagement/Sales/Customer Relationship Management: Lead the sales and customer engagement process to generate leads, establish a book-of-business across all eligible customer segments, and secure program participation. Educate customers on our clean transportation programs portfolio, including available EV charging infrastructure programs and advisory services. Develop and present customized presentations to support sales and site recruitment, responding to all customer program inquiries. Manage the site acquisition/customer onboarding process (determine project eligibility, conduct site screening, lead site walk technical team, desktop review, preliminary design, and negotiate agreements/easements when applicable). Understand regulatory and political landscapes and requirements for Clean Transportation programs. Achieve individual program/segment goals. 30% Project Management: Present, communicate, and manage customer expectations and experiences on all activities leading to successful project completion. Develop and maintain project parameters and requirements. Coordinate input from various departments within the Company to meet project objectives. Convey time-sensitive project schedule concerns related to charging infrastructure installation. Track and report on project status, developing project schedule milestones for the book-of-business. Secure customer commitments to meet program and project completion schedules. 15% Outreach/Program Promotion: Represent all clean transportation portfolio offerings in sales and marketing opportunities with potential customers and relevant channel partners. Participate in outreach events, and develop and deliver PowerPoint presentations on clean transportation program offerings to external audiences. 5% Perform Other Duties as Assigned: Document all relevant program processes and procedures for program compliance. Implement lessons learned from statewide IOUs and previous transportation electrification programs. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Engineering, or equivalent is required. 3-5 years of related experience or equivalent experience/training. Excellent written and verbal communication skills to deliver persuasive presentations. Strong customer service skills. Previous experience in customer service, account management, and/or sales is desirable. Knowledgeable about EVs and EVSE for end-use applications is highly desirable. Effective account management skills and experience. Proficient project management skills. Some travel is required to attend conferences and industry-related events. Must have a valid CA Driver’s License. Able to load/unload, set up/tear down outreach booths, and stand for long periods during events. Equal Employment Opportunity
