We are a well established Florida civil litigation firm seeking an Insurance Defense Litigation Attorney with experience in medical malpractice defense, workers' compensation, insurance defense, and complex commercial disputes. The role involves managing defense matters from inception through resolution and delivering high-quality legal representation with a client-focused approach. Key Responsibilities
Independently manage a caseload of medical malpractice defense matters from inception through resolution Draft and respond to discovery, take and defend depositions, and handle motion practice Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and legal memoranda Develop litigation strategies tailored to the facts and legal issues of each case Attend court hearings, mediations, and trials as necessary Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, experts, and insurance carriers Ensure high-quality legal representation with a focus on client service and efficient case management Qualifications
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school Active member in good standing with The Florida Bar Minimum of 3 years of experience in medical malpractice defense litigation Strong writing, analytical, and oral advocacy skills Ability to manage multiple deadlines and work independently in a fast-paced environment Prior trial experience preferred but not required Compensation
