We are seeking an experienced and dynamic MEP Engineering Manager to join our construction team. This role focuses on the design, coordination, and project management of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems for multi-family projects. The successful candidate will oversee all aspects of MEP design and construction, develop innovative and cost-effective designs, manage projects, and lead a team. Responsibilities
Lead the development of MEP system designs in-house to meet code, project specifications, and budget Oversee coordination and integration of MEP systems into overall project design and construction Manage a team of MEP engineers and designers, providing guidance, feedback, and training Collaborate with architects, structural engineers, and other professionals to ensure seamless MEP integration Develop and implement project schedules and budgets to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery Review and approve MEP design drawings and specifications for quality and compliance Oversee installation, testing, and commissioning of MEP systems for proper function and safety Manage relationships with clients, contractors, and stakeholders with clear communication Keep up-to-date with MEP design and construction advancements and adopt appropriate technologies and practices Ensure work complies with company policies, procedures, and health/safety regulations Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field Minimum 5 years' experience in MEP design and project management for multi-family construction Proven experience leading in-house MEP design development Strong knowledge of MEP systems, construction methods, and industry best practices Excellent project management and multi-project oversight skills Strong leadership, with ability to motivate a team Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for stakeholder collaboration Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and MS Project Professional Engineer (PE) license required (Florida); GA/TX licensure preferred Familiarity with building codes, regulations, and standards Employment details
