We are seeking a seasoned Employment Litigation Counsel to join our dynamic legal team. This role is ideal for a strategic litigator with deep experience in employment law who thrives in high-stakes environments and is passionate about advocating for clients in complex disputes. Responsibilities

Lead and manage employment litigation matters from inception through resolution, including class actions, PAGA claims, wage and hour disputes, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and WARN Act cases. Conduct thorough legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and discovery, and prepare for depositions, mediations, and trials. Advise clients on employment law compliance, HR policies, internal investigations, and risk mitigation strategies. Collaborate with internal teams and external counsel across jurisdictions to ensure cohesive litigation strategy and execution. Represent clients in federal and state courts, arbitrations, and administrative proceedings. Qualifications

J.D. from an accredited law school and active bar membership in Illinois. Minimum 7 years of litigation experience, with a strong focus on employment law. Proven track record of successful trial outcomes and strategic case management. Exceptional writing, analytical, and oral advocacy skills. Ability to manage multiple complex matters simultaneously and work independently or as part of a team. Experience with sensitive investigations, IP protection, and regulatory compliance is a plus. Preferred Attributes

Former public defender or similar trial-heavy background. Experience in both plaintiff and defense-side employment litigation. Familiarity with federal and state employment regulations, including FLSA, DLSE, and data privacy laws. EEO & Equal Opportunity
