Key Responsibilities:
Deliver and transport tire loads to various Southern Tire Mart locations and wholesale customers with efficiency and care.
Handle shipping and receiving tasks related to tire deliveries, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Maintain organized delivery paperwork, vehicle logs, and safety documentation to ensure compliance.
Stay updated with necessary certifications for driving and safety compliance.
Conduct regular vehicle maintenance and complete safety inspection sheets daily.
Operate company vehicles safely, adhering to DOT regulations and traffic laws.
Provide professional and courteous service when engaging with customers and colleagues.
Load and unload tire shipments, ensuring materials are handled safely.
Must be capable of lifting and moving tires weighing between 30-250 lbs., with or without mechanical assistance.
Skills / Education / Requirements:
Aged 18 years or older.
Pass a pre-employment drug screening.
Possess a valid driver's license with a good driving record; CDL is a plus but not mandatory.
Prior experience in delivery, shipping/receiving, or warehouse operations is preferred.
Ability to lift and handle heavy tires with safety as a priority.
Strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail.
Capable of working independently and effectively managing time.
