Job Description: Senior Civil Site and/or Conveyance Design Engineer
Brown and Caldwell is seeking a self-motivated Senior Civil Site and/or Conveyance Design Engineer to join our civil design team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work in a growth-oriented professional consulting firm, serving municipal, industrial, and federal clients. We foster a collaborative, multi-discipline environment focused on innovative and cost-effective designs for facilities, expansions, upgrades, and retrofits. Responsibilities include: Leading civil design efforts on projects of various sizes, collaborating with structural, mechanical, process, and electrical engineers. Working effectively with local and remote team members to meet project schedules and quality standards. Supporting business development activities, including scope and effort estimation, and maintaining budgets and schedules. Performing engineering work related to water, wastewater, and stormwater projects, including site improvements, utilities, grading, and drainage. Preparing reports, plans, permits, and designs, and conducting feasibility studies. Overseeing field investigations, site inspections, and construction observations. Mentoring junior engineers and contributing to company standards and business growth. Qualifications: Bachelor's in Civil/Environmental Engineering; Master's preferred. Minimum of 8 years' experience in municipal/industrial civil design, including water, wastewater, and stormwater projects. Professional Engineering license required; ability to obtain additional state licenses. Proficiency with Civil 3D, Hydrology/Hydraulics software, and other relevant tools. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Salary Range:
Location-based, approximately $106,000 - $174,000 annually. Benefits:
