Job Description:

As part of our expanding Global Engineering and Scientific consulting team, you will work on complex engineering challenges across various industries, including automotive, construction, consumer products, electronics, and medical devices. This Managing Director role involves managing client assignments, proactively networking, and business development activities.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Attracting and securing new business opportunities in expert witness and strategic consulting Growing Secretariat’s Mechanical Engineering practice through recruiting talented staff Mentoring and developing Mechanical Engineering staff Providing project management and overseeing project budgets REQUIREMENTS
Established track record in business development and existing client relationships Professional degrees and approximately 10 years of experience: PhD or MS in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering with experience in experimental or solid mechanics Excellent verbal and written communication skills Previous experience testifying in deposition, trial, arbitration, or hearings Strong expert report writing skills Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities Excellent listening, verbal, written, technical, and presentation skills Leadership desire and ability to support a growing practice Willingness to travel as needed Secretariat is an equal opportunity employer, celebrating diversity and fostering an inclusive environment.
