$35.00/hr - $40.00/hr Our client, a
global investment firm , is seeking a Staff Accountant to join their Corporate Accounting Department. This team is responsible for financial transactions, tax accounting, and financial reporting, including consolidating three foreign subsidiaries and providing reports to the parent company. The role utilizes Great Plains accounting system, Management Reporter, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and an internal client billing system. This position offers a hybrid work environment. Key Responsibilities: Apply cash receipts, record daily financial transactions, ensure general ledger accuracy, and reconcile bank statements and other financial accounts. Review and integrate Singapore, UK, and Australia monthly financials for the monthly close. Strengthen collection procedures, monitor aged receivables, address billing inquiries, and provide updates to ensure timely client payments and optimized cash flow. Maintain and update the fixed asset register, ensuring accurate depreciation calculations. Assist in the monthly financial close process to ensure accurate financial reporting. Prepare audit schedules and support auditors during annual audits. Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations. Collaborate with finance, investment, and operations teams to support business objectives. Assist in reporting financial and operational data to the parent company. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting. 2-5 years of public accounting experience or experience in a similar role. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Effective written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multitask, and collaborate within a team. Seniority level
