Compensation Analyst - Boston, MA

We are seeking candidates for a Compensation Analyst position to join a highly successful telecommunications company located in Boston, MA. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of compensation experience within professional services and demonstrated interest in Human Resources.
This is a 12-month contract position that will pay $40/hr (depending on experience) within a 40-hour work week. This position is required to be onsite 3 days per week in their Boston office.
Responsibilities:
Conduct job evaluations for new and existing roles to assess market competitiveness, internal equity, incentive eligibility, and organizational structure alignment. Apply compensation best practices to design base salary, variable pay, and long-term incentive programs aligned with business objectives. Collaborate with global HR teams to harmonize compensation processes and maintain consistency across international and local policies and practices. Support the annual compensation planning cycle, including communications and coordination across business units. Manage the submission of compensation survey data, ensuring timely and accurate participation in both annual and ad hoc surveys. Perform internal and external compensation analyses to benchmark and evaluate the competitiveness of total rewards offerings. Develop and deliver compensation reports and market data insights for HR business partners, stakeholders, and broader strategic projects. Assist in the creation and implementation of compensation-related communications, training materials, and policy documentation.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience required. 2+ years of compensation experience within professional services required. Proficiency with MS Office Suite, experience working in Exel required. Experience with Compensation Planning Applications (Oracle & Payfactors) is preferred. Demonstrated interest in Human Resources preferred. Strong attention to detail, critical thinking, and problem solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality and multi-task.
