Senior Nurse Manager - Long Term Care & Special Needs Unit

Position Overview

As Nurse Manager, you'll lead clinical operations for a 130-bed skilled nursing facility, including specialized neurobehavioral and secure units. This role combines clinical leadership with operational management, offering a salary range of $90,000-$105,000 plus comprehensive benefits.

Essential Responsibilities

• Direct clinical operations and staff supervision across multiple specialized units
• Lead quality improvement initiatives and ensure regulatory compliance
• Manage interdisciplinary care coordination and communication
• Oversee staff development, scheduling, and performance management
• Implement evidence-based practices and care protocols
• Ensure exceptional patient/resident experience and family satisfaction
• Maintain DOH compliance and quality metrics
• Manage departmental budgets and resource allocation

Required Qualifications

• Current NYS RN License
• Graduate of accredited RN program
• Minimum 2 years recent management experience in Long Term Care
• Strong clinical and operational leadership abilities
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Proficiency in healthcare technology and Microsoft Office Suite
