Description Position at JBS USA
Occupational Health Nurse-RN Responsibilities:This position will serve partners in all aspects of Employee Health, including awareness training, personal medical, first aid, emergency response, and work-related injuries. Accurate record keeping is essential. The position reports to the Occupational Health Nurse Manager.
Basic Qualifications:- Current license, certification, or completion of a program required to practice as an Occupational Health Professional.
- AED/CPR/First Aid Certification required.
- Excellent people skills, record keeping/injury management experience, and independent decision-making skills are essential.
- Bilingual skills are preferred.
- Background check, drug, and alcohol testing are required.
- Perform industrial hearing tests, BAT, drug screens, post-offer physicals.
- Training will be provided.
- Basic computer skills are necessary.
- Ability to walk through complex areas, including stairways.
- Conduct all tasks within legal, ethical, and moral standards of care.
- Maintain accurate records according to OSHA regulations and JBS policies.
- Ensure HIPAA confidentiality regarding employee health information.
- Other duties as assigned by management and supervision.
Work schedule: Monday through Friday, with occasional Saturdays.
