Our client has an exciting opportunity for a Software Engineer/Camunda. The client is focused on modernizing and transforming operational systems by building cloud-based applications and migrating existing workflows to a modern BPM platform.
Due to client requirement, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.
Rate: $62 - $67 / hr. w2
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop sophisticated Business Process Models to automate, digitize, and modernize end-to-end business processes.
- Collaborate with a team of skilled engineers to build solutions using the Workflow platform.
- Engage with business partners to understand workflow needs and transform those requirements into automated business processes.
- Facilitate process design sessions, analyze business processes, and document current and future states.
- Design and build user interfaces using form.io to represent user tasks in a workflow, as well as connectors, APIs, and other software modules to support BPM models.
- Work on complex and/or multiple conversion applications and routines, contributing to on-time and on-budget project goals.
Experience Requirements:
- 3-5 years of programming experience in Java or Groovy, with hands-on experience in building web services, RESTful APIs, and Spring.
- 2-3 years of experience in JavaScript and building user interfaces, with exposure to form.io.
- At least 2-3 years of experience building process models using Camunda, Activiti, Flowable, IBM BPM, or Appian.
- Experience in business process improvement or re-engineering projects, and working closely with business and operations teams.
- Ability to collaborate with Business Analysts and Design leads to implement robust automation solutions.
- Working knowledge of Agile methodology.
- Solid understanding of Software Engineering and Object-Oriented Design principles.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, organization, and time-management skills.
- Ability to learn and develop expertise in new tools and products.
- Collaborative working style with good interpersonal and relationship management skills.
- Drive to take initiative, ownership, and deliver results.
Nice to have:
- Knowledge of AWS/Azure.
- Experience with financial services in an operations or technology role.
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or comparable experience.
Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be considered when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting reflects a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided range.
