Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Customer Service Coordinator I to serve as the first point of contact for our North American customer base via our toll-free phone line. This role requires the ability to handle a high volume of inquiries, orders, and case management tasks with accuracy and professionalism. You will collaborate with internal departments including Sales, Accounting, Complaints, Pricing, Manufacturing, and more, to ensure the highest level of service. The ideal candidate will be an excellent multi-tasker with strong communication skills and a passion for providing world-class customer support.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Respond promptly to customer inquiries via phone and email regarding orders, pricing, product availability, shipping, and account information.
  2. Process a high volume of orders accurately using PeopleSoft or equivalent order management system.
  3. Manage a large number of customer service cases using Salesforce.com, ensuring timely resolution and follow-up.
  4. Coordinate with internal teams such as Sales, Technical Support, Manufacturing, Warehouse, and New Accounts to resolve customer issues.
  5. Maintain and update customer and dealer profiles, ensuring accurate terms, notes, and shipping information.
  6. Support complaint processing by coordinating with the Complaints Team.
  7. Attend product and technical training sessions as scheduled.
  8. Ensure 100% customer follow-up and satisfaction through clear communication and prompt issue resolution.
  9. Promote and uphold the company’s image and values by providing exceptional service in all interactions.

Required Qualifications
  1. High school diploma or equivalent.
  2. Minimum 2 years of customer service or call center experience, preferably in a high-volume environment.
  3. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Web-based tools).
  4. Ability to type a minimum of 50 WPM.
  5. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  6. Proven ability to multi-task while maintaining attention to detail.
  7. Demonstrated problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in routine situations.
  8. Consistent on-time attendance and strong work ethic.

Preferred Qualifications
  1. Experience in the Life Sciences industry or related field.
  2. Working knowledge of PeopleSoft Order Management or similar ERP systems.
  3. Experience with Salesforce.com case management tools.
  4. Familiarity with order fulfillment, logistics, and inventory systems.
