Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (100% onsite)

Pay Rate: $17.00 per hour

Are you looking for a long-term opportunity to grow your administrative or customer service career? We are hiring reliable, flexible, detail-oriented team members to start in our client’s Mailroom, with the chance to learn multiple roles—Administrative Assistant, Customer Service Representative, Scheduling Specialist, or Document & Workflow Specialist—based on your performance, attendance, and attitude.

This is a fantastic contract-to-hire opportunity for someone who wants to grow professionally, develop office skills, and work in a mission-driven environment.

Phase 1: Mailroom Support

All candidates will begin in the Mailroom assisting with a high-priority backlog of mail. Duties include:

  • Sorting, scanning, and organizing incoming and returned mail
  • Indexing documents into electronic systems
  • Physically lifting, carrying, and handling case files and packages
  • Supporting departments with mail-related clerical tasks

Phase 2: Pathway to Growth

Role

Once the mailroom backlog is resolved, you will work in one or more of the following roles. You need to be flexible to work in any role as needed based on business needs:

Administrative Assistant

  • Perform data entry, filing, sorting, and office support
  • Assist with meeting prep, minutes, tracking claims, and supporting supervisors
  • Requires strong attention to detail and clerical experience

Customer Service Representative

  • Answer high-volume calls, respond to email inquiries, process benefits cases
  • Perform data entry, case flagging, and return mail processing
  • Preference given to bilingual candidates

Customer Care & Scheduling Specialist

  • Schedule consultative exams and manage vendor appointments
  • Communicate with claimants, medical vendors, and internal staff
  • Requires excellent phone and email communication skills

Document & Workflow Specialist

  • Process and route electronic documents in secure systems
  • Scan, convert, index, and upload large batches of files
  • Detail-oriented work within digital recordkeeping tools

What We’re Looking For

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • 2–3 years of experience in any of the following: customer service, clerical, data entry, call center, administrative support
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and adaptability
  • Ability to lift mail and case files regularly, up to 25 pounds
  • Reliable attendance and a positive, team-player attitude

Important Requirements

Due to the nature of this role, all candidates must meet the following:

  • Pass a fingerprint background check
  • Be in good standing or active repayment if you have student loans or tax debt
  • Undergo dual background screenings (state and federal)
  • Pass a drug screen
