About the Role
The Receiving Associate is responsible for efficiently managing inbound inventory, ensuring accuracy, quality, and timely processing of materials and supplies required for production. This role requires strong attention to detail and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Receive and inspect all incoming shipments for accuracy, condition, and documentation compliance.
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to unload deliveries and transport items to designated storage locations.
- Maintain assigned stock and overflow areas by keeping inventory rotated and fronted.
- Collaborate and communicate with production, customer service representatives, service providers, and others involved in the receipt of products.
- Perform other general warehouse duties as needed, including maintaining a clean environment and workspace.
- Attend all required safety meetings and training sessions.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Experience working in a warehouse environment.
- Familiarity with receiving processes, including package handling.
Required Skills
- Proven ability to work independently in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
