Warehouse Associate

A warehouse associate is responsible for coordinating distribution activities at the depot, including receiving, loading, maintaining cleanliness, fleet upkeep, and reporting directly to the facility leaders.

Schedule: Monday - Friday (5x8's), 8:00 am - 4:30 pm

Pay Rate: $22 per hour

• Bonus opportunities up to $1,000 per quarter (up to $4,000 per year)
• Additional $2 per hour for candidates with a CDL (Class A or B) with tanker endorsement

Primary Job Responsibilities

• Shipping materials to customers
• Weekly receiving of cooking oil tanker trucks
• Executing daily Standard Sanitary Operating Procedures
• Compiling corporate return orders
• Monitoring warehouse inventories such as cooking oil and mechanical parts, and identifying needed items
• Maintaining fleet upkeep, including adhering to maintenance schedules, loading daily routes, and routine cleaning
• Participating in the facility's safety initiatives
• Verifying flow meters on delivery trucks regularly for accuracy and compliance, calibrating as needed, including biannual calibrations in Q1 and Q3

Education, Requirements & Competencies

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must be 21 years old
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to use a smartphone
• Meet Fleet Safety requirements and maintain a clean driving record
• Ability to lift at least 50 pounds by hand and move items several hundred yards by cart
• Strong organizational skills
• Physical ability to bend, stoop, squat, stand, walk, climb, twist, reach
• Ability to climb ladders up to 20 feet
• Ability to interpret documents and provide suggestions
• Effective prioritization and execution of goals
• Excellent customer service skills
• Other duties as assigned

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous warehouse experience
• Commercial Driver's License (Class A or B) with tanker endorsement
