This is a safety-sensitive position. Supports the day-to-day operations of the branch by providing order and delivery services. Responsible for all aspects of warehouse functions including receiving, storing, handling, shipping and preparing of product for customer delivery while maintaining the warehouse in a safe and orderly fashion.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day branch operations by providing order and delivery services.
• Perform all aspects of warehouse functions: receiving, storing, handling, shipping, and preparing product for customer delivery.
• Maintain warehouse safety and organization.
• Operate inventory control equipment and bar-coding handheld devices as required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; warehouse or distribution experience preferred.
• Ability to identify product by size, type, style, color or product code.
• Ability to read orders and match orders on shipping tickets to items picked; basic math and reasoning skills.
• Ability to obtain certification of power-truck equipment.
• Fluent in English; Spanish a plus.

Physical Requirements

• Move/lift up to 50 lbs unassisted; occasional lifting up to 75 pounds.
• Work in extreme temperatures; stand, walk, lift, pull and push for long periods; climb ladders for top-level selection.
• Specific vision abilities: close, distance, peripheral, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
